A balanced diet for a pet hedgehog typically includes high-quality cat food, which provides the necessary protein, supplemented with insects like mealworms or crickets. Fresh fruits and vegetables can also be offered in small amounts, but it’s important to avoid foods that are toxic to hedgehogs, such as grapes, raisins, and avocado.
