Types of lovebirds

There are nine recognized species of lovebirds, each with unique characteristics and colorations. The most popular species include the Peach-faced, Fischer’s, and Masked lovebirds. Peach-faced lovebirds are known for their vibrant green bodies and peach-colored faces, with numerous color mutations available through selective breeding. Fischer’s lovebirds have a distinctive orange face and green body, often seen in blue and violet mutations. Masked lovebirds are characterized by their black masks and green or blue bodies.
